Executive Vice President, Forum North America - Southeast
In her capacity of executive vice president, Galina manages the research and
development of Forum's learning capabilities. Galina is also responsible for
the areas of learning and development for the field, knowledge management,
resourcing for client
engagements, and ResNet management (cadre of 150 contract consultants). She
also manages Forum's relationship with the Asia Distributors.
Galina draws on her knowledge of Forum from both internal and external perspectives
and has held significant corporate roles and overseas field assignments. Previously,
senior vice president and geography head of Asia Pacific for Forum Asia Limited,
Galina created the Asian practice. Based out of Hong Kong, she built a culturally
diversified staff that spanned several countries, a local customer base in
a number of countries, provided local support for global client projects and
established Forum's reputation in the marketplace as a quality provider with
whom to work.
Galina has worked with a number of key clients such as Standard Chartered
Bank, Bank of America, Citibank, DuPont, Sealand, Jardine Pacific Limited,
Deloitte & Touche, Leo Burnett, Merrill Lynch, American Express, and many
others. She has advised and helped clients with learning solutions to build
leadership talent, improve sales force effectiveness and create loyalty-building
customer experiences.
Prior to joining Forum, Galina was a senior vice president at BayBank in Boston,
where she built the training department and directed staff planning and development.
Previously, she worked for Citibank in New York where she was involved in training
and the introduction of new products and services (most notably, the introduction
of ATM banking). Earlier in her career, she conducted adult education programs
for the U.S. Government in Germany and Korea.
Fluent in Russian, Galina earned her Bachelor of Arts in Russian Studies and
Education from Fordham University and has done graduate work in adult education
and organizational development at Boston University and the University of Southern
California. She received Forum's Chairman Awards for the Hong Kong and AMEX
teams, as well as awards from the $1 million sales club. She maintains various
professional memberships and has appeared on CNBC's The Winners. She speaks
to business and community groups on getting results through training, cross-department
collaboration, sales leadership, customer-focused quality, management development,
organizational change, HR as a business partner, as well as curriculum design
and implementation.
